you’d shit on me whatever my first idea was（僕の最初のアイデアが何であろうと、あなたは却下するだろう）
ぐらいの意味です。
you’d open to the backup（予備の（その次の）アイデアに対して心を開く）
ぐらいの意味です。
それを字幕で「愚策を先に言えば本命の策が引き立つ」と出すなんて素晴らしいですよね(^-^)
straw man idea = たたき台 ドラフト
manipulate = 操作する
